As previously mentioned, we want our fans - YOU - to decide which songs we definitely should play during our Farewell-Show at Wacken:Open:Air 2009 on July 30, 2009. We received hundreds of mails with setlist proposals so far - THANKS SO MUCH - but unfortunately we can't play a set of several hours. Therefore we collected the most mentioned songs in our poll and we ask you to vote for the songs you don't want to miss and which will appear on the upcoming Live-DVD. This poll will close on July 1st, 2009.

"ReUnation - A Tribute To Running Wild" will be released in fall 2009 by the well-known Hamburg-based label Remedy Records as a limited 2-CD set for the price of a normal CD - an exclusive collector's item and a definite must-have for all Heavy Rock- and Metal-Fans.

Commented Jens Pohl, the webmaster for German Metal-Legends RUNNING WILD: "This album will not be just an ordinary tribute to anyone, this is going to be a farewell gift to one of the most influential bands in Heavy Metal, paying homage to Rock'n'Rolf as a musician and - due to the current situation - to many of his latest songs but not solely. I am really happy, proud and grateful at the same time that this tribute album features some legends as well as some of the most promising and uprising Heavy Rock- and Metal-Acts you should not miss! My deepest appreciation to everyone being involved. Thanks."

this is Johannes from WOLF, Sweden.

I deeply want to thank Mr. Kasparek for his brilliance, songwriting, inspiration and for having - singlehandedly - created a whole new edition of Metal. I started listening to RUNNING WILD in 1988 as a 13-year-old and I remember that I wanted to see you guys sooo badly live. I never had the opportunity until the gig at Sweden Rock Festival. I keep that in mind as one of my favorite gigs of all times - and I've seen a lot!

Unfortunately WOLF is not involved with the new tribute-album because we are very busy at the moment, it just could not happen, though I truly wish that we did, since playing any song by RUNNING WILD would have been an honour to me.

There is no doubt that RUNNING WILD's music has and still will keep on inspiring me and a helluva lot of people.

Once again: Thank you for all the great music and the great memories I have connected to RUNNING WILD.
