Behind the Scenes

Mit einer Farewell-Show in Wacken besiegelte Rock'n'Rolf Kasparek im vergangenen Sommer das Ende von RUNNING WILD und beendete damit ein wichtiges Kapitel nicht nur in der Geschichte des Heavy Metal, sondern auch im Leben einer Vielzahl von ergebenen Fans. Grund genug, sich an dieser Stelle noch einmal ausführlicher mit den ursprünglich aus Hamburg stammenden Metal-Freibeutern zu beschäftigen.

Für ihre "Behind the Scenes"-Rubrik sprach das Totentanz Magazin mit Jens Pohl, der die Band als Fan lange begleitet hat, sie als ihr Homepage-Administrator kennt, dessen unermüdlichem Einsatz sich die Entstehung zweier RUNNING WILD Tribute-Alben verdankt und der derzeit mit dem Schreiben einer Bandbiographie befasst ist. Jens gab Auskunft über die Hintergründe seiner Arbeit und über das Ende einer Legende.
